Alicia Jones, MD

Dr. Alicia Jones was born in Salt Lake City, and did most of her growing up in Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate education at the university of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2001, graduating summa cum laude. She attended medical school at the Quillen college of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. her residency training was at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. She established her private practice back in Utah at Alta View Hospital. 

Dr. Jones enjoys gynecologic care of all women from teenagers through postmenopausal women. She also loves delivering babies and feels like being a mom  of three allows her to understand the concerns of her pregnant patients on a very personal level. She does perform almost all of her patients’ deliveries even when not “on call”. her gynecologic interests include minimally invasive procedures such as in-office endometrial ablations and tubal sterilizations, laparoscopy, infertility, adolescent gynecology and helping women ease through the menopausal transition.

Outside the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and three sons ages 6, 4 and 1. trying to find free time is a challenge, but when she has some she enjoys cooking, baking, reading and outdoor activities such as hiking and taking the kids to the park.
